Located on the world famous Naknek River in the Bristol Bay Region of Alaska, King Salmon Lodge is a full service Alaskan Fishing Lodge offering the best of both worlds for Anglers and Non-Anglers alike. The fishing in this area is outstanding! You can expect trophy Rainbows, Arctic Char, Grayling and depending on the week all five species of Pacific Salmon. Just a hop from the lodge you can see the massive "Alaska Coastal Brown Bears" at Brooks, or the fabulous "Valley of Ten Thousand Smokes." From the King Salmon Lodge, you can experience the beauty of the Alaskan wilderness.

Our three De Havilland Beavers are waiting to fly you to remote fishing locations. Fish for big Rainbows on the Moraine Little Ku or any one of dozen "secret spots," or Salmon on the nearby Alagnak, Nushagak or Nonvianuk rivers. Lodge jet boats provide comfortable access to our home river the Naknek, for legendary Salmon fishing, Trout Char, and Grayling with both single and Spey Rods. After a full day of fishing or sightseeing, you can return to our beautifully well appointed lodge for a relaxing and comfortable evening of cocktails, and a sumptuous meal.

All our guides are instructors and experts in fly and spin cast fishing catering to the complete novice or experienced angler. June and July are great months for fishing King Salmon (Chinook) and Red Salmon (Sockeye). August and September offer spectacular Silver (Coho) fishing.

The Lodge is located on the beautiful and productive Naknek River on the Alaska Peninsula, 300 air miles southwest of Anchorage. Our three De Havilland Beaver float planes are flight ready. Our staff is anxious to help make your time at King Salmon Lodge the Alaskan experience of a lifetime.

Each guestroom is bright and comfortable with a private bathroom. All rates are based on single occupancy, unless you are traveling with someone you wish to share a room with. Rates include lodging, meals, beverages, and guided fishing. Also included are flights in our Beaver Float planes for fishing or sight seeing, jet boats for fishing on the local river, waders, rods, reels, fishing tackle and fishing licenses. Lodge comforts include: Laundry Service, newly installed Business Center with telephone, fax and Internet service.

All sumptuous meals prepared by our outstanding Chef are served in our dining room with views overlooking the River. Your meals are complimented by fine wines and a premium well stocked complimentary bar.

The Bristol Bay Region is home to the largest Sockeye (RED) Salmon runs in the world, as well as, Kings, Silvers, Pinks, and Chum. Acre for Acre, nothing in Alaska compares to the majestic beauty of Katmai!
A short ten minute flight from the lodge takes you into a land that has been virtually untouched since its creation.

Our superb location enables us to fish the entire Bristol Bay Watershed, including the Wild Trout Management Area around Lake Iliamna, and the prolific waters of Katmai National Park by Float Plane. Fishing our home water, the world famous Naknek River by jet boat is a daily option.
